You can always see a blacksmith forging at The Landing (a.k.a. Chittenango Landing Canal Boat Museum) on Thursdays during the summer. Mike Allen is the resident blacksmith on duty.

We will be forging bike racks at the Bicentennial Bash at Chittenango Landing on June 17, 2017. An all day event including blacksmithing demonstrations, a fishing derby, and a huge canoe and kayak float, and the chance to visit one of the best Erie Canal museums……AND IT’S FREE!!!!!
